For the writer who shows a broad range of expertise in writing about any aspect of gardening online. They will demonstrate inspiring, informative or educational writing on blogs, newsletters (including Substack and similar platforms) and online sections of the gardening press.

For material published between Friday, 8th September 2023 and Thursday, 29th August 2024.

It should have a sense of the personality behind it and clear, accurate gardening or plant information appropriate to the target audience. You are asked to provide links to three pieces of digital writing from blogs, newsletters or other digital formats. Submissions should have been published online only. The judges will also take engagement into account.

Entry is open to all and is free to GMG members; a fee of £45 is applicable to non-member entrants.
