Associate Membership

Information for Associate Members

The Guild warmly welcomes Associate Members. It offers unparalleled access to the UK’s gardening press; many people find that the GMG is an ideal way to meet influencers in the gardening media, network with members of the press and keep abreast of what is happening in our industry.

Associate Members enjoy most of the same benefits and services within the Guild as Full Members. That is:

• They can attend the Guild's programme of free garden visits, GMG workshops and training courses and come to networking events.
• Get discounted tickets to the Summer Party and the Awards Lunch.
• Enter their work into the Awards free of charge.
• Receive the quarterly GMG News magazine and the E-Bulletins.

Associate Members do not have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting or at any Extraordinary General Meetings.
 

Communication

Associate Members are entitled to send out occasional mailshots or special offers to the membership body if they have a product or event that will be of particular interest to GMG members. The mailshot has to be approved by the Guild’s chairs first and their decision is final.

Associate Members may also use the GMG News magazine to publicise their work; this is at the discretion of the Editor.
