This award is for the best national or regional radio broadcast episode or podcast episode on any aspect of gardening, or the horticultural or garden retail industry, that keeps its listeners tuned in until the end and entertains, informs and inspires in equal measure.

For material broadcast between Friday, 8th September 2023 and Thursday, 29th August 2024.

The winning entry will be topical, seasonally relevant and entertaining. Its presentation will be lively and involving and it will keep listeners engrossed until the end. Include details of listener feedback and engagement, such as comments and your replies, and any relevant statistics on the number of downloads, listeners or position in charts. It will be well targeted at its chosen audience and beautifully crafted: the editing, recording levels, sound effects and audibility will all be excellent. If there are guests or experts, they will be well chosen and add to the listener’s experience.

Entry is open to all and is free to GMG members; a fee of £45 is applicable to non-member entrants. To qualify for free entry, someone who worked on the entry must be a GMG member.

This entry form must be complete by Thursday, 29th August 2024 and your broadcast file must be uploaded to dropbox by Thursday, 5th September 2024.
