This award is for the writer whose features about any aspect of gardening captivates the reader with imagination, flair, horticultural accuracy and high-quality writing in a style appropriate to the audience. Features may include articles about a garden, garden shows or trends, interviews and in depth writing on any issues or aspects of plants, horticulture or the horticultural/garden retail industry.

For material published between Friday, 8th September 2023 and Thursday, 29th August 2024. This category is limited to print entries only.

Entry is open to all and is free to GMG members; a fee of £45 is applicable to non-member entrants.
