Biography
Beth Otway is a horticulturist, garden writer, and photographer with a passion for plants, nature, gardening, plant conservation, sustainability, and the environment. Having previously worked in the RHS Wisley Trials Office, Beth now writes freelance and is available to write one-off pieces, regular columns, or books.
Indoors, Beth cultivates a wide variety of orchids, terrarium plants, ferns, and houseplants. Beth holds the National Collection of Miniature Phalaenopsis Species, and the National Collection of Miniature Aerangis and Angraecum Species.
A fellow of the National Vegetable Society; Beth has grown vegetables, fruit, and herbs, for Michelin-Starred restaurants. Beth runs horticultural trials and is always searching for the best tasting and most productive edible plants.
