Biography

After studying for a B.A (Journalism) I was in-house journalist for Australian Horticulture magazine in Melbourne, later working as Garden Visits Editor for the RHS. In this role I split my time between creating content for the RHS website and for The Garden magazine, specialising in news, events and highlights at the RHS Gardens and Partner Gardens. As External Communications Officer with the National Trust, I work in the central Cultural Heritage press team, with a particular focus on raising awareness of the Trust's gardens and gardeners. In 2023/24 I led on communications for the charity's Main Avenue Chelsea Show Garden, The Octavia Hill Garden by Blue Diamond with the National Trust, achieving a high volume of national and international coverage.
