Biography

Photographer, photo library owner, lecturer, writer. Photographs worldwide on commission for landscape architects, garden designers, magazines, newspapers, book publishers. Garden Exposures Photo Library includes; plant portraits, garden details, lifestyle imagery, food from the garden, wildlife, landscapes and well captioned garden features. Ambassador for the Roberto Burle Marx Foundation. AoP member. PGP photographer. Fellow of the RSA 2024 RHS Botanical Art and Photography Show, Saatchi Gallery, London: Winner - Best Portfolio & Gold Medal Winner or finalist for numerous GMG awards including; Winner Photographer of the Year 2018 and 2008, Winner Book Photographer of the Year 2014, Finalist Features Photographer of the Year 2014, Finalist Features Photographer of the Year 2013, Finalist Book Photographer of the Year 2012, Finalist Book Photographer of the Year 2009. Public speaker to gardening societies, conferences, events and clubs both in the UK and the USA.

Talks: A World of Gardens: Through her pictures, multi-award winning photographer, Andrea Jones, will tell us how her 25 year career (so far) in the niche world of horticultural photography evolved and how it has led her to travel widely and document such a vast array of gardens around the globe. In this illustrated talk Andrea will reveal images of many gardens she feels privileged to have had access to over the years and photographed for publication including some new projects that haven’t yet hit the press.
