Biography

With a background in business, tertiary business and third sector, I entered horticulture with a passion for the industry but also a desire to see things done in a more equitable way for the many different roles available. I am the Co-founder of The Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Charter for the Horticulture, Arboriculture, Landscaping & Garden Media Profession. I am a member of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) and an active member of the Cornwall branch. I am the immediate past Chair of the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) and I sit on the Southwest regional committee of BALI.

Additional Interests

I am coastal born and bred but someone who ended up in Wiltshire for 24 years. Now back based on the south coast in Cornwall I am able to indulge in all things aqua again. Sailing our Hawk 20, sea swimming and coastal walks with my working cocker spaniels. I will always be involved with the RSA and I see the support as a symbiotic journey - I will attend the events and love to get involved in initiatives if I am passionate about the subject.
