Writer: consumer magazines; sound broadcaster: national; TV broadcaster; author; photography library; lecturer; website editor; public relations. Joined the horticultural industry 1958. Qualifications in horticulture, greenkeeping, agronomy, park administration, education. Principal of Ryde School of Horticulture (ret) and Trustee of Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney. Broadcasts the Garden Clinic Show on Australian Radio 2GB since 1980, television presenter since 1978. Co-authored ‘Our World of Gardening’, ‘Great Gardens of the World’ & ‘From the Ground Up NSW’. Specialist subjects: horticultural history, ornamental plants and garden media & tourism. Additional interests: horticultural education, lecturer for LCGD (Aust) and garden travel
