Biography

Delia studied History of Art and Photography in her teens and it led her to a lifelong enthusiasm with creative images. Delia’s working life has been in organisational roles in the media and publishing industries. Delia’s young family became her photographic muses and this led to her interest in children’s portraiture. Two elements from this rewarding experience; light and composition helped her transition seamlessly into garden photography. Delia loves to capture a story within an image that the viewer can feel both inspired and moved by. Delia works currently as a part time gardener and is a district photographer for the charity, the Scotland’s Gardens Scheme who use her images for their website, cards and guidebook.
