Biography

Steve Bustin is National Chair of The Hardy Plant Society, the UK's largest specialist plant society with just over 6000 members. The HPS is a registered charity which exists to advance the culture, study and improvement of hardy herbaceous plants; the preservation of older rarer and lesser known hardy plants; to advance knowledge of hardy plants; to organise visits to places of interest in connection with the study of hardy plants.We love hardy perennials for their variety, colours, shapes, sizes and longevity. We help each other to grow them better, to try different species and we exchange and spread information about them.

Steve Bustin is a former journalist member of Garden Media Guild and has written on gardening topics for a wide range of newspapers and magazines and is available for editorial contributions, as a podcast guest and as an event speaker/emcee.
