Biography

Pip is a freelance journalist and floral designer. She is a senior RHS Judge, panel chairman and moderator, a NAFAS National Judge, Teacher, and Speaker and is currently Chairman of the Wessex and Jersey Area of NAFAS and is on the Strategy Committee of the national charity NAFAS. She is a regular expert on BBC Radio Solent She wrote The Hillier Gardeners' Guide to Climbers and Wall Shrubs. Before going freelance she worked for Hilliers for 27 years. She was Plant Buyer, Editor of the Hillier Gardening Club Magazine and a Team Leader on the Hillier RHS Chelsea Flower Show exhibit taking part in 25 consecutive Gold Medal winning exhibits Pip also works as a freelance florist and vintage vase dealer.

Additional Interests

Pip is a keen floral art competitor with 3 individual RHS Chelsea Gold Medals to her name. She is also registrar for the Bristol 412 car model and regularly judges at the Bristol Owners Club Concours. Pip runs a facebook group called Flower Arrangers #foam free with a high quality membership of 4000 Pip also has a good eye for antiques as her mother was an antique dealer.
