Biography

After taking a post graduate diploma at City University’s Journalism School, I’ve had a long career in consumer magazines. I was the launch editor of Modern Gardens for Bauer Media in 2016/2017. I’m now a freelance journalist and editor specialising in gardening. I have a monthly column in Modern Gardens magazine, and I have been regular horticultural writer for Kew magazine for over three years. I contribute to Garden News, Garden Answers and LandScape. I have a popular instagram account @fionacumberpatch and a website and blog, mainly focussing on my small town garden www.fionacumberpatch.com
