My journey with photography began in my youth, quietly capturing the beauty of the natural world on my parents' hobby farm in central Minnesota. I have been taking photos since I was in grade school, shooting professionally after graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Stout in 2002. I was an assistant and art director for Gardening How-To magazine for 10 years before becoming a full time photographer. I am passionate about photographing both people and gardens.
