Biography

Writer: consumer magazines, national newspapers, local newspapers; author; radio presenter: national, local; television broadcaster; lecturer; editor: magazines; website contributor. Qualified horticulturist. Launched BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine in 1991, and edited the title for 22 years. Won Editor of the Year from the British Society of Magazine Editors in 1998 and 2004. Has worked on gardening projects in television, multimedia, online, live events, books, magazines and newspapers. Runs his own gardening media company - Adam Pasco Media - producing gardening articles, photography, video and audio for use in any media format. Works as a consultant to several gardening, retail and trade organisations. Editor of Waitrose Garden Magazine. Regularly gives beautifully illustrated talks to gardening groups around the country.
