I’ve also been keen on writing for most of my life. After writing for tourism brochures in the 90s I have been writing regular gardening articles for my church magazine for a while and I now want to aim for a wider audience in writing for magazines and social media. Additional Interests Music is my other real passion. I have been singing a capella four part harmony in a chorus for around 10 years, but have been in lots of choirs before. I have also tried solo jazz singing but can get stage fright if I'm on my own on a stage. I play the piano but don't get much time for that these days and it doesn't help that the room has become my husband's part time office since Covid.
