Biography
M.T. is a freelance gardening writer and blogger, gardening coach and speaker, and runs PR for gardening companies, often in the form of social media management or events support. She has written for local, regional, and national publications, both online and in print, and has been involved in national gardening campaigns. A keen advocate for encouraging people to #givegardeningago, she has been featured and quoted in print, online, on radio, and in social media video and live broadcasts.
M.T. is editor of Scotland Grows magazine, and host of the Scotland Grows Show podcast, both dedicated to celebrating real gardening in Scotland, empowering the buoyant Scottish gardening market.

M.T. is particularly interested in gardening for physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing and is a Fieldworker for Trellis, the Scottish therapeutic horticulture charity. She sits on the board of the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society, is an RHS Schools Garden Mentor, and a local community gardener, as well as hosting
‘grow your own’ and seasonal gardening workshops locally to encourage new gardeners.
