Biography

I am a passionate horticulturist with a love for everything that grows. Having started my career in parks departments and training at Capel Manor College nearly 30 years ago, I have experienced a wide range of industry sectors from organic herb growing and amenity horticulture to botanic gardens and TV production. This has enabled me to accumulate a diverse portfolio of skills and experiences which I use in my current role in horticultural TV broadcasts such as Gardeners’ World and Chelsea Flower Show.

Additional Interests

I have a particular interest in wild landscapes, wildlife centred horticulture and organic growing and enjoy sharing this passion with others where I can. I run woodland maintenance workshops on a small woodland I am developing throughout the winter months.
