As in recent years, and to ensure that as many members as possible can join our Annual General Meeting, the 34th AGM of the Garden Media Guild, will be held via a Zoom meeting. It will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Please put the date in your diary.

Following feedback and requests from members, this year we have decided to move away from tradition and hold it in the evening. It will start @ 7pm. Hopefully, this will be more suitable for members.

Business conducted at the AGM will follow the rules set out in section 8 of the Guild’s Constitution. Motions may be proposed by any full member, must be seconded by a full member, and received by the Honorary Secretary at least 28 days prior to the meeting. Please send these, or any other AGM enquiry, to the Guild’s Honorary Secretary Geoff Hodge.

The AGM package containing the agenda, minutes and all motions will be distributed to members via e-mail in early November. Details of how to vote for the motions and how to log in to the Zoom meeting will also be included.

The formal proceedings of the AGM will then be followed by an informal Q&A session when the committee will be available to answer questions from all members.
