The Guild’s Summer Party took place on August 5 at the Garden Museum in south London. Before the party started, 25 members enjoyed an inspiring workshop on terrariums organised by Jar and Fern. Those who attended left with a beautifully planted terrarium to enjoy at home for many years to come.
Over 100 Guild members and their guests attended the party; as the museum was closed to other visitors, they had sole use of the impressive building and the courtyard garden, recently redesigned by Dan Pearson. A great deal of eating, drinking, chatting and networking went on – and GMG member Fay Edwards walked off with a bottle of champagne for correctly identifying the most types of grass seeds in a fun quiz organised by Johnsons Lawn Seed. Guests also enjoyed dipping into the Pick and Mix sweet stand organised by Honda.
Many thanks to our headline sponsor Honda, and to sponsors Thompson & Morgan, Candide and Johnsons Lawn Seed for supporting the event.
