This GMG Members Day will include a tour of the Flower Market, information about the redevelopment - happening early next year, when the market will move to new premises for six years - and a short presentation about the flower market's garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year. There will also be the chance to meet the designer, Ming Veevers Carter, plus information about British Flowers Week in mid-June.

This is an opportunity to see this famous market, which is not normally open to the public, have a chat with some of the stallholders, and admire what should be a fantastic display of cut flowers from all over the world.

It requires an early start - we will meet at 7.30am at the market - and will last about two hours. The market is a five-minute walk from Vauxhall tube station.

Places are limited, so please book your place as soon as possible. There are no restrictions on photography, although as this is a busy working environment, everyone doing the tour will have to sign a Health & Safety document on arrival.
