Work experience with Peter Seabrook
24 January 2018
We are thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for one lucky Garden Media Guild member.
Our founder and former Patron, Peter Seabrook, is offering an afternoon of work experience when you can shadow Peter as he compiles his long-running weekly column for national newspaper The Sun and records his weekly podcast, in News International's offices at London Bridge.
Peter has been gardening editor at The Sun for 40 years and his career at the paper has spanned huge changes in gardening, from the post-war days of growing out of necessity and planting food to eat, to the colourful gardening of the 1950s and today's move towards easy-care plants and instant gratification, but he has kept apace, embracing video and social media to get his phenomenal horticultural knowledge across.
Peter goes to The Sun's office most Tuesdays, and will arrange a Tuesday to suit our winning member during the summer months, when most of the major flower shows are over.
Contact Kate @ GMG Admin as soon as possible to put your name in the hat for this fantastic experience. The winner will be picked at random.
